It is time to make plans for the 4th Annual Construction Cruise motorcycle charity ride for the Itasca Habitat for Humanity chapter.

This year's ride is planned for Saturday September 11th, 2010.

Registration will begin at 9:30 AM in the Itasca Habitat for Humanity "Restore" Building located on the east end of Grand Rapids across from Midway Bowling. Your entrance fee of $30 per person will include a T-shirt, a ticket for the $100 cash drawing, and lunch at the "Wilderness Bar" in Bigfork.

The ride will depart at 11:00 AM sharp from the parking lot of the "Itasca Habitat for Humanity Restore".

From the "Restore" parking lot we will turn right on to Hwy 169 and go north to where we will turn left onto Scenic Hwy 7 and head north. Due to road construction we will turn west on County Road 59 which will turn into County Road 49. From County Road 49 we go west on County Road 60. From there we will head north on Highway 38; this will take us to the town of Big Fork and for lunch at the "Big Fork Wilderness Bar". Lunch will be a pulled pork or pulled chicken buffet. One time through the buffet line. Gas is available at each end of town.

From the "Big Fork Wilderness Bar" parking lot we will turn right and head north on Hwy 38 and then we will turn left on County road 14/29 and head west.

Once we arrive at Alvwood, we will turn left on to Hwy 46 where we will go south to Squaw Lake and have a break at a neat little place called "The Hill". Gas is also available in Squaw Lake.

From "The Hill" parking lot we will turn left and head south once again on Hwy 46 to where we turn left onto County Road 4 where we head east through Max and Spring Lake to Hwy 6.

From County Road 4 we will turn right and go south on Hwy 6 to County Road 19.

From County Road 19 we will turn right onto County Road 62 and go south to Hwy 2 in Cohasset.

Take a right onto Hwy 2 heading west for a short jaunt to “Florio’s Grill and Tavern” where we will conclude our Construction Cruise Charity Ride with door prizes and a drawing for $100 cash. Riders must be present to win.
