trucks, boats etc and provide financial support to our affiliate. By discarding these
items in an environmentally friendly manner, you not only help your environment but also
help us build more decent, affordable homes in Itasca County.

US Recycle Ink pays cash for used cell phones, empty printer cartridges, surplus printer
supplies and old computer equipment in support of schools, non-profits and other
organizations. Itasca County Habitat for Humanity is currently signed up for this program.

Cans for Habitat(click for more info)
Around the country, Habitat volunteers are busy building homes, serving on committees,
and recycling cans to build more Habitat homes. The Cans for Habitat program is calling for
more participation and is offering volunteers another way to earn money for local affiliates!

Recyclers involved in the Cans for Habitat program play a pivotal role in the betterment of
their community: helping build homes for those in need, helping the environment
and spurring volunteer fervor.

Recycle your cans today! Bring them to North Country Recycling, 230 3rd Ave NE, Grand
Rapids, 218-326-1155, and ask them to put the cash return in the Habitat for Humanity
account. All donations go 100% toward building homes.

Love to shop online? Well now you can shop online and support ICHFH
financially at the same time. Sign up with the Discounted Home Shoppers Club on behalf
of ICHFH and shop all your usual online stores. You will receive Shopper’s Club Points
which can be redeemed and because you’ve signed up on our behalf, when you
purchase something from the DHS Club, they donate a percent of your purchases to
ICHFH. You can also shop our online catalog and purchase ICHFH apparel from Arrow
Embroidery. They in turn donate a percentage of the purchase amount to us.

When you donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Habitat’s Cars for Homes Program, you are
helping your local Habitat affiliate build homes in partnership with families within your
