Itasca County Habitat for Humanity partnered with Prestige Roofing of Grand Rapids to install a GAF roof on the home we are building for partner family Misty and Rhys in Cohasset. Prestige Roofing generously donated its time, skills, and labor to install the roof.

GAF donated the complete roofing system and a System Plus warranty as part of the GAF Habitat for Humanity Community Contractor Program, which combines GAF’s leading network of independent certified contractors with roofing materials from GAF to address a critical need for safe, affordable housing across the country. Since 2011, GAF and its certified contractors have installed more than 2,300 roofs on Habitat homes.

For Misty and Rhys, the new roof represents stability and hope for their family. Their home in Cohasset will provide them with the foundation to thrive, thanks to the collaboration of Habitat volunteers, Prestige Roofing, and the GAF Community Contractor Program, among many others.

“Itasca County Habitat for Humanity is deeply grateful to Prestige Roofing for donating their expertise and labor to this project,” said Jamie Mjolsness, Executive Director of Itasca County Habitat for Humanity. “Together with GAF, they are helping us put a safe, secure roof over the heads of local families like Misty and Rhys, making it possible for them to build brighter futures.”
