Itasca County Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce a generous $1,000 donation from the Star of the North Lions Club, reinforcing the shared mission of building stronger, more supportive communities throughout the region.

The donation will help fund Habitat for Humanity's affordable housing initiatives, supporting local families in their journey toward safe, stable homeownership.

“We’re deeply grateful to the Star of the North Lions Club for their continued commitment to our community,” said Jamie Mjolsness, Executive Director of Itasca County Habitat for Humanity. “This gift goes directly toward our work of building homes, communities, and hope—making a real difference for local families in need of a decent place to live.”

The Star of the North Lions Club sees this donation as part of its broader commitment to service and community impact.

“Supporting Habitat for Humanity aligns with our values of service and compassion,” said Dale Rosier, President of the Star of the North Lions Club. “We’re proud to help provide a foundation for families to thrive right here in Itasca County.”

The partnership between Itasca County Habitat for Humanity and the Star of the North Lions Club reflects a shared belief that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.
