As a non-profit organization, Itasca County Habitat for Humanity (ICHFH) depends on the
generosity of individuals, businesses and other local and national organizations. To a great extent, it is the contributions of these community-minded donors that make new and affordable homes a reality for those in need. ICHFH accepts contributions of many types, including money, materials and professional labor. When you choose to donate to our organization - no matter how you do it - you can bet that your contribution will help make a difference! Money ICHFH accepts direct tax-deductible donations of money, payable in cash or by check. These can be mailed to: 525 E Itasca St, Ste 104 PO BOX 81 Grand Rapids, MN 55744 In addition, donations can be made online through PayPal. PayPal accepts credit cards, debit cards and checking or savings account numbers. Materials(click to donate) New building materials can be donated for the construction of Habitat homes. In addition, gently used materials less than seven years old can be donated as inventory for the ReStore. For more information about donating materials, please contact Larry Pickeral, project manager, or Gabe Baudeck about donating used materials. Professional Labor(click to contact us) The contribution of professional labor is an important element in the Habitat construction process. It not only helps expedite the overall building cycle, but it also helps ensure the quality and safety of new homes. If you’re a professional contractor - whether a concrete expert, plumber, electrician, roofer or other - please contact Project Manager Larry Pickeral. Donating labor is not only a great way to make a difference, but it can also be a terrific team-building exercise.
